Practice Policy
The Castleknock Clinic is made up of a team of people whose prime objective
is to ensure the delivery of a high standard of patient care. This team
includes Doctors, Nurses, Receptionists, Secretaries, a Podiatrist and
Psychologist, but the main part of the team is you-the patient. We will
guarantee you certain rights, but along side these go your responsibilities.

Patients’ Rights
- The practice will strive to maintain and improve the range and quality
of service provided to our patients
- All patients will be treated as individuals and will be shown courtesy
and respect at all times
- Information concerning patients will be treated in strictest confidence
by all members of the practice team.
- Patients who do make appointments could hope to be seen within twenty
minutes of their appointment time
- The telephone will be answered promptly
- Patients will be kept informed of the services offered by the practice,
through this website, practice leaflets, patient newsletters and appropriate
recall programmes
Patients’ Responsibilities
- If you are unable to keep your appointment please let us know as soon
as possible
- Please try to arrive on time for your appointment. Please treat the
doctors and staff with the same respect and courtesy which you might
hope to receive yourself
- We are here to help you but may need information from you to enable
us to offer you the most appropriate care. Please help us to achieve
this
- The practitioners are here to give you treatment and advice. It is
important you understand the information given to you. If you are unsure
about your treatment please ask for more information
- Your practitioner will try to see you within a reasonable time when
you attend the surgery. Please be patient if an emergency situation
arises and you are delayed
